Chamber Committees

The Chamber relies on the strength of its staff and volunteers to fulfill its mission. Volunteering with the Greater Edgewood Area Chamber (GEAC) gives you the opportunity to directly impact the economic vitality of the EM/EV region by contributing your time and talents outside your business. It simultaneously offers professional growth and the chance to develop lasting relationships with other business leaders.

Chamber Ambassadors – Ambassadors wear several hats. They welcome new and prospective members to chamber events, they assist in strengthening and enhancing member networking, and they help at chamber functions/events.  Ambassadors also bring member ideas to the board for consideration and potential development.

Event Committee – Committee members assist with planning, organizing, and day-of-event activities for a specific GEAC event. Key annual events are: Country Living EXPO (April), Cowboy Days (June), Route 66 Run, Rally & Rock EXPO (Aug), Bustin’ Clays (Sept), Small Business Saturday (Nov).

Professional Development – Committee members assist with selecting, planning and day-of activities to bring business experts to this region for workshops and seminars.

East Mountain Business Women – Sharing their enthusiasm for business and the region, this is a smaller networking group with a focus on supporting each other and the community.
